Jesus, Our Salvation
Jesus is the savior of the world. He came to earth as a baby, grew up and lived among us, then died on a cross to pay for our sins.
The Bible tells us that when Jesus died on the cross there was an earthquake. And three days later, even though he had been buried in a tomb with heavy stones blocking its entrance, Jesus rose from the dead!
He did this so we could have eternal life by believing in Him as Savior and trusting His death for our salvation. Jesus said: “I am the way and I am truth and I am life.” (John 14:6) What does that mean? It means you can’t find true joy, purpose, or lasting peace in this life without Jesus.
Jesus is the only way to know God. The Bible says, “No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) That means if you want to have a relationship with God-the most powerful, loving being in the universe you need to come to know Jesus.

Who is the Church?
The Church is important because it is where we come together to learn about Jesus and to worship Him. The Bible says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
The Church is also where we find support and encouragement. When we’re going through tough times, it’s helpful to have other believers around who understand what we’re going through.

Why Do We Pray?
The Bible says, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)
Prayer is a way to communicate with God. He desires to have a relationship with us, and prayer is one way to build that relationship. Prayer is also a way to ask for God’s help and guidance.
God hears our prayers and He responds to them. The Bible says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) When we pray, we can trust that God is listening and He will help us in our time of need.
Jesus said: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) Prayer is a powerful tool, and with it, we can do great things for the kingdom of God.

Evangelism: Sharing the Good News
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
When we become Christians, we are called to share the good news with others. Evangelism is sharing the gospel message with those who have not yet heard it.
There are many ways to share the gospel. You can talk to your friends and family about Jesus, you can write about Him on social media, or you can go out into the community and share His love with others.
No matter what method you choose, always remember that God is with you. He will give you the words to say and the power to overcome.
