The Gift of Salvation to Those Who Believe

Being saved is a gift from God. It’s something that we can’t earn or deserve, but it’s given to us as a result of His love and grace. We’re saved by faith – trusting in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. When we accept Him into our hearts, we become children of God and are forgiven for all our sins. Praise be to God!

Turning Away From Sin

Repentance is more than just feeling sorry for our sins. It’s a change of heart that leads us to forsake our sinful ways and turn to God. True repentance brings about a radical transformation in our lives, and it’s the key to receiving forgiveness from God.

Declaring Your Faith Through Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of our faith in Jesus Christ. It’s a public declaration that we’ve chosen to follow Him, and it’s also a symbol of His death, burial, and resurrection. If you’ve never been baptized, we encourage you to take this step of faith!

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is one of the most important things we can do as Christians. It’s how we communicate with God, and it’s how we stay connected to Him. Prayer is also how we intercede on behalf of others – whether they’re family members, friends, or even strangers. We believe in the power of prayer, and we believe that God hears and answers our prayers.

The Bible is full of stories about the power of prayer. One example is the story of Elijah, who prayed for rain and received a miracle from God. Another example is the story of Jesus Christ, who healed people and performed miracles through prayer.

Prayer is a way to access the power of God, and it’s something we should all be doing on a regular basis.

Evangelism

Evangelism is simply sharing the gospel with others. It’s about proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and inviting people to put their faith in Him.

As Christians, we’re all called to evangelize, and there are many different ways to do it. We can share our personal testimony, hand out tracts or gospel pamphlets, invite friends to church, or simply have conversations about spiritual matters. The important thing is that we’re intentional about sharing the gospel with others.

There are many lost and hurting people in the world, and they need to hear about the hope that we have in Christ. Let’s be bold in our witness and proclaim the good news of salvation!

These are just a few things you need to know after you first become a Christian. Of course, there’s much more to learn, but this is a good start. We encourage you to get involved in a local church and to continue growing in your faith. And if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help you on your journey of faith!

The Spirit of God

The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. It’s a common belief that He lives inside us, and gives Christians guidance as they seek to follow God.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus was baptized, the Holy Spirit descended upon Him like a dove. And while we don’t know very much about His personality or appearance, we do know that He has powerful abilities: he can speak through people who are filled with His power (1 Corinthians 12:4-6), give gifts of wisdom and knowledge to believers (1 Corinthians 12:8), heal physical wounds and emotional pains (Luke 4:18-19) and change our hearts so we want to obey God’s word rather than sin (Acts 16). The Holy Spirit is also the one who gives us spiritual discernment, so we can know if something is from God or not (1 Corinthians 2:13-14).
