We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest
Praying With Anticipation
When we pray, we should do so with expectation. We should expect God to answer our prayers. The Bible tells us that God desires to hear from us and that He always hears our prayers. In 1 John 5:14-15, it says: “This is the confidence we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
God desires to bless us and to meet our needs. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When we pray, we need to be reminded that we are talking to the God of the universe. The creator of all things. The one who knows us better than we know ourselves. The one who loves us unconditionally. The one who is all-powerful and all-knowing. We need to approach Him with humility and gratitude, knowing that He is our Father and our friend.
What Is Righteousness?
Righteousness is a central theme in the Bible. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and that we need to be saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible also tells us that God desires to see us live righteous lives. In fact, righteousness is one of the most important things to God. The Bible says in Isaiah 64:6: “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up under a condemning sentence.”
The good news is that we can be made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, He takes away our sin and gives us His righteousness. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”
When we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we are given a new life. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” This new life is not just a change in our behavior. It is a change in our very nature. We are now children of God and heirs with Christ. The Bible says in Galatians 4:7: “So you are no longer a slave but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.”
This new life in Christ is one of righteousness. The Bible tells us in 1 John 3:7: “Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.” This new life of righteousness is not something we can achieve on our own. It is a gift from God. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
When we live our lives in Christ, we will experience His righteousness. The Bible tells us in Philippians 3:9: “And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.”
