What Is The Good News of The Gospel?

The Bible is full of good news, and it’s for everyone. Jesus came to this earth as a man, lived a perfect life, and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. He rose from the dead three days later, proving that he was who he said he was – the Son of God. And because of his death and resurrection, we can have eternal life with Him if we believe in Him and follow Him.

This is amazing news! The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), so none of us deserves eternal life. But because Jesus took our place on the cross, we can receive forgiveness and be saved simply by trusting in him.

What does this mean for us today? It means that we can have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. When we receive Christ as our Savior, we are born again into the family of God and become children of the King!

The apostle Paul also said this about Christians in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9: “We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.”

So even though living as a Christian can be difficult, we can have hope knowing that God is with us every step of the way and will give us the strength to endure whatever comes our way.
