Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His death on the cross and resurrection make it possible for us to have a restored relationship with God and has fulfilled many prophecies about the coming Messiah. Jesus commissions His followers to go into all the world and tell others about Him (Mark 16:15). We can receive eternal life through our faith in Him.

The Bible

God has made Himself known to us through the Word (Bible) and the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God’s written word to us, and we must use it as our guide for living and worshiping. It tells us about Jesus; how we can be saved; what God expects of us, and much more.

We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest

Prayer

Through prayer, we talk to God and listen to Him. We need to pray for guidance before we make decisions; for others who are in need; confess our sins and ask for forgiveness and many other reasons. It is important that we get along with God when praying. In Jesus’ model prayer, He says that we should pray in secret and that He will answer our prayers.

Jesus modeled the Lord’s Prayer for us in Matthew 6 which is known as the “Lord’s Prayer”. This is the prayer which you can pray too: “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

Baptism

The Bible tells us about baptism, which is a sign of the new covenant between God and His people. Baptism is an outward expression of an inner reality – one’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior. It signifies cleansing from sin and begins a life of service to God. It is important that the person seeking baptism has shown faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, understands who they are in Christ, and wants to live for Him.

We must be baptized by full submersion in water (Acts 8:36-39), thus signifying death to an old way of life and coming up out of the water, as a believer in Christ, resurrected to walk in a new life. The person is then clothed with Christ and receives His gift of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 3:27). This takes place through an “ordinance” of the church where they proclaim that Jesus is Lord and head of his church, baptized disciples are publicly recognized as being united with Him, and they are admitted to participate in the Lord’s Supper.

Evangelism

It is important that we “Share Jesus.” To share Jesus means to be open about our faith in Christ, inviting others into a personal relationship with God through Jesus. We show God’s love by helping other people know about Jesus and what He has done for us.

The Bible tells us that everyone needs to be saved from sin through faith in Jesus Christ. In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells His followers to wait in Jerusalem until they are baptized with the Holy Spirit, after which they will be empowered to share the good news of Jesus with all peoples everywhere. Churches in Ranchi are continually striving to carry out the Great Commission through evangelism. Churches are to be welcoming, not exclusive; serving others, not self-serving; and to be about ministry, not maintenance.

By doing this we can model what it means to love God and people by sharing that message of hope in Jesus Christ with them! Churches in Ranchi that exist for outreach and witness are communities where people can grow in their faith, find encouragement in fellowship, and in turn, be encouraged to go share the hope of God’s love with others. Churches exist for worshiping God in spirit and truth – sharing Jesus with others is part of that worship!

Becoming a Follower of Christ

A disciple of Jesus Christ is someone who follows Him and learns from Him. A disciple is someone who wants to become more like Jesus every day. We can become disciples by reading the Bible, praying, and fellowship with other believers.

When we read the Bible, we learn about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We learn about how to live our lives for Him and how to be saved from our sins. Prayer is a way of talking to God and listening to Him. We can pray for guidance before making decisions, for others who are in need, and confess our sins. Fellowship with other believers is a great way to grow in our faith. We can encourage one another, pray for each other, and learn from each other. Churches in Ranchi can provide a helpful environment filled with people who will encourage and support us on our journey of faith.

We should be encouraged that we don’t have to go through this alone. We don’t have to work out what it means to follow Jesus by ourselves – God loves us so much he has sent others along the journey with us to help and encourage us. Churches in Ranchi are full of people who want to be disciples together!

Who Is The Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and He is just as important as God the Father and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside every Christian and helps us to live for Jesus. He convicts us of our sins, teaches us about the Bible, and gives us the power to do good works. He also helps us when we pray.

The Bible says that the Holy Spirit will help us to remember what Jesus said (John 14:26) and that He will guide us into all truth (John 16:13). We can ask Him for help when we don’t know what to do or when we need wisdom. The Holy Spirit is always with us and wants to help us grow in our faith.
