Saying Yes to God

Everyone has something they say “yes” to. It could be a job, a hobby, or even just an idea. Saying yes is what makes life worth living. It’s the thing that keeps us going and helps give our lives meaning and purpose. But there’s one thing we must say YES to more than anything else: God Himself!

The Gospel That Saves Us

The gospel that saves us is a message of hope and love. It’s the good news that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. When we believe in Him, we are forgiven and saved. We receive new life in Him and are adopted into His family. We are given a purpose and a hope for the future. Through Jesus Christ, we have eternal life!

The Power of Prayer

The power of your prayer life.

There are many things that people pray for, including physical healing, protection from harm and violence, the forgiveness of sin or guilt, marital harmony, and guidance in family matters. But there is one thing you must never forget to pray for: the salvation of others! It’s easy to focus on our own needs when we come before God in prayer but it’s also important to remember those around us who are lost without Jesus Christ as their Savior. It is through your prayers that they receive hope and encouragement. So don’t neglect them! Remember: “without prayer life, the Christian walks blindfolded.”

Types of Prayer

There are many different types of prayer. Below are just a few examples:

1. Petitionary Prayer: This is when we pray for specific things, such as healing for a loved one or financial assistance in times of need.

2. Intercessory Prayer: This is when we pray for others, often people we don’t even know. We ask God to intervene in their lives and to help them in whatever they are going through.

3. Thanksgiving Prayer: This is simply a prayer of thanksgiving, often offered up after we have received something good from God. We might thank Him for answered prayers, for His protection during difficult times, or for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

4. Praise Prayer: This is a prayer of praise, in which we lift up our voices to God and thank Him for who He is. We might praise Him for His goodness, His love, or His mercy.

Baptism Is a Symbol of Your New Life in Christ

Water baptism is an important step of obedience for every Christian. It is a symbol of our new life in Christ. When we are baptized, we identify ourselves with His death, burial, and resurrection. We also publicly declare our faith in Him. If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to take this important step as soon as possible!

The Bible: God’s Love Letter to Us

The Bible is the most important book ever written! It’s like a love letter from God to His children. In it, we learn about His character, His will for our lives, and how much He loves us. Reading the Bible is one of the best ways to get to know God better. It’s also a great way to grow in your faith and learn more about what it means to follow Jesus Christ.

Evangelism: Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with Others

The word “evangelism” comes from the Greek word for “gospel.” Evangelism simply means sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. It’s something every Christian is called to do! And it doesn’t have to be difficult or scary. Just start by talking to people about what Jesus has done in your life and how He can change theirs, too.

The Trinity of God

When you really think about it, God is three persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) in one divine being. This might sound confusing at first but if you stop to consider everything that this means, it’s actually quite beautiful. In fact, there are many things we can learn from this trinity of One:

1. Unity is strength: The Trinity reveals how much stronger a group can be when they work together. For example, all three members of the Trinity share one will for creation to exist and thrive because they love us so much! When people come together with a united purpose or goal – whether as friends or family – their power multiplies exponentially!

2. We need each other: It would be impossible for anyone member of the Trinity to exist without the other two. They rely on each other for everything! In the same way, we need each other as human beings. We were created to live in a community, build relationships, and support one another.

3. Diversity is a good thing: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all have different roles within the Trinity but they are all equally important. In the same way, we all have different gifts, talents, and abilities that make us unique. And when we come together and use our individual strengths for the good of others, it creates a more beautiful world!

4. Love never fails: The Trinity is a perfect example of love – selfless, pure, and true. And this kind of love is what we are called to have for others. It’s the kind of love that never fails, no matter what!

He is Faithful

God is faithful. He has always been faithful and He will always be faithful. This is something that we can count on, especially when we are going through difficult times. When we feel like we can’t handle things on our own, we can turn to God and know that He will be there for us. He is a loving Father who never leaves us or forsakes us. We can trust Him to see us through anything!
