Following Jesus With Every Step

Discipleship is all about following Jesus. When we become disciples of Jesus, we are committing to obey Him and to learn from Him. We are also committing to telling others about Him. The Bible tells us that we are to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). This is a big task, but it’s something that we can all do with God’s help.

Being a disciple of Jesus is an amazing privilege. He has called us to Himself and given us His Holy Spirit to guide and empower us. We can trust Him to help us fulfill His will for our lives. Let’s seek to follow Jesus with all our hearts, and let’s encourage others to do the same!

The Gospel That Saves!

The good news about Jesus is that He died on the cross to take away our sins. He rose from the dead, and now He is alive! When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven and have a relationship with God. We can come to Him with all of our needs and pray to Him anytime we want. Jesus is always there for us, and He loves us very much.

God wants everyone to be saved (2 Peter 3:9). He has given us His Son, Jesus Christ, as the way of salvation. When we trust in Jesus as our Savior, our sins are forgiven and we have eternal life with God. This is good news! We can share this good news with others, and we should! As we tell people about Jesus, we are giving them the opportunity to be saved from their sins and to have eternal life. Let’s obey God’s command to evangelize and share the gospel with everyone we can!

Clothing Yourself in the Full Armor of God

The full armor of God is found in Ephesians 6:10-18. It includes the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel of peace, and the shield of faith. These pieces of armor protect us from the attacks of the enemy.

The helmet of salvation protects our minds from evil thoughts. The breastplate of righteousness protects our hearts from sin. The belt of truth protects our stomachs from lies. The shoes of the gospel of peace protect our feet from being led astray. And the shield of faith protects us from all attacks.

We can put on the full armor of God by asking for His help and by using the power of His Spirit. When we do this, we can stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. Let’s put on the full armor of God today and be prepared to fight the good fight!

Your Righteousness By Faith Alone

There’s a little-known verse in Romans 4:1 that says, “What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh?” The answer is, “If Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.’”

This scripture tells us that when we believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord of our lives (which means trusting Him with everything), He counts us righteous because of faith! We have nothing to boast about on this earth except for the grace of God which covers all sin. Therefore no one can ever be good enough on their own to get into heaven.

Only through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ can we have eternal life and hope! This is the message that we want to share with everyone in Panabo, Philippines. Churches in Panabo play an important role in connecting people with God and teaching them about His love for them. We hope that you will join us in this effort to reach out to the lost and help them find their way back to God.
