We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the Son of God and the second person of the Trinity. He is the one who came to earth to die for our sins, and who rose again from the dead so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. Jesus is also the one who offers us hope and redemption, and who desires to have a relationship with us. When we come to know Jesus Christ as our Savior, He changes everything about how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Praying God’s Way

Prayer is simply talking to God, from the heart. It can be done any time and anywhere – anytime you want to talk to God and ask Him for something or thank Him for something. Prayer is a way of expressing your love and appreciation for who He is – not only as your Savior but also as Father, Friend, Provider, and Healer -all the things that He has been in your life.

Prayers are often answered when we least expect it- sometimes even before we finish praying! But if they’re not answered right away, don’t worry- just keep on asking! The Bible says: “And this is my prayer: that thy kingdom may come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Evangelizing to The World

Evangelism is the spreading of the Good News of Jesus Christ – that He died for our sins and rose again so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. It is sharing the hope and redemption that God offers to us all, through faith in Jesus Christ. When we share the Gospel with others, it changes everything about how we see them, and the world around us.

Jesus told His followers: “Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16 NIV). In giving us this instruction, He was telling us that we should go out of our way to tell others about the Gospel and what it offers them.

When we share our faith with someone, we must realize that God has already put a desire to know Him into that person’s heart- He just needs for us to be obedient in helping lead him or her to Christ! We all need God’s help, as well as guidance from the Holy Spirit when we’re sharing our faith. After all, it’s not about us- it’s all about Him! Are you ready to give your life to share the Good News of Jesus Christ?

Baptism

Since many people have a lot of questions and misconceptions about baptism, it’s a good idea to take the time to explain it. Baptism is an outward expression of our faith in Christ – a way for us to identify with Him and His death, burial, and resurrection. It’s a symbol of our cleansing from sin, spiritual new birth, and renewal. In the Bible baptism is not only an act of obedience on our part but also a public witness to others that we have accepted Christ’s sacrifice for us and died to our old way of living.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20 NIV)

“He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16 NIV)

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romans 6:4 NIV)

Prayer

Prayer is talking to God and listening for His answers. It’s our most important relationship in life! We all need help and comfort, and we can always find it in prayer. Just like spending time with a good friend and asking and listening and talking about everything, even when we don’t get the answers we want; when we pray, we share our deepest thoughts and desires with God.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NIV)

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 NIV)
