Saved By Jesus!

When most people hear the phrase “saved by grace through faith,” they think about being saved from going to hell. While it’s certainly true that salvation is a free gift from God, there’s so much more to it than just avoiding punishment.

Being saved by grace through faith means that we’re adopted into God’s family and become heirs of His kingdom. It means we have a new life in Christ and are forgiven of our sins. It means we’re given the Holy Spirit who helps us live righteously and grow closer to God.

Salvation is an amazing gift, and it’s only possible because of grace – unmerited favor from God. We can’t earn our way into heaven, but thankfully, we don’t have to. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ and repent of our sins, He graciously offers us eternal life.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that God has sent His Son to save us from our sins. Jesus died on the cross as a payment for our sins, and He rose from the dead three days later. When we repent of our sins and put our faith in Jesus Christ, we’re forgiven and given eternal life.

The gospel isn’t just about going to heaven when we die. It’s about having a new life now, in this world. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us and helps us live righteously. We can be forgiven of our sins and have peace with God. We can also be filled with joy and hope, even in the midst of trials.

What is The Church?

Baptism

Baptism is an important step of obedience for every believer. It’s a public profession of our faith in Jesus Christ, and it’s a way for us to identify with His death, burial, and resurrection.

When we are baptized, we are declaring that we have died to our old life of sin and that we have been raised to new life in Christ. Baptism is also a symbol of our cleansing from sin and our newness of life in Christ.
