One Way To Be Saved

We are saved by grace through faith. It’s a simple statement, but it’s profound. It means that we can’t save ourselves. We need God’s help. And we receive that help through faith – believing in Him and what He has done for us.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works so that no one can boast.” This is a great comfort to us because it means that we don’t have to earn our salvation. It’s a free gift from God. And because it’s free, we can accept it with gratitude and humility.

Joining the Family of God

When we receive God’s gift of salvation, we also become part of His family – the Church. The Church is a community of believers who follow Jesus Christ. And just as our physical families are important to us, so is the Church family important to our spiritual lives.

Serving the Lord

When we come to know God, our lives are changed forever. We want to serve Him with all our hearts because we love Him and want to please Him. Serving God is a privilege and an honor.

Psalm 119:63 says, “I am eager to obey your laws.” This shows how much we desire to serve God and follow His commands. It’s a joy for us to do what He asks of us. And it’s wonderful to know that we can always count on Him no matter what happens in this life.

God has given us many ways in which we can serve Him. We can pray for others, share the gospel, give generously, and more. What a privilege it is to be able to serve such a loving and gracious God!

The Powerful Weapon of Prayer

Did you know that prayer is one of the most powerful weapons we have against the devil?

Prayer is a way for us to communicate with God, and it’s also a way for us to connect with Him. When we pray, we can ask Him for anything we need or want. We can also thank Him for all He has done for us.

The Bible tells us that prayer is very important to God. In James 5:16, it says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” This means that when we pray with faith and sincerity, God hears our prayers and answers them according to His will.

God wants us to pray constantly – not just when we need something or when there’s a problem. Prayer should be part of our everyday lives.

When we pray, we are putting ourselves in position to receive God’s blessings. And not only do we receive blessings from God when we pray, but also the devil flees from us! 1 John 4:4 says, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them [the evil spirits], because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

Prayer is a powerful weapon that we can use against the devil. So let’s make sure we are using it often!

Baptism – A Public Declaration of Faith

Baptism is an important step of obedience for every Christian. It’s a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to follow Him.

When we are baptized, we are buried with Christ in His death and raised to new life with Him (see Romans 6:4). This is symbolic of the fact that when we put our trust in Jesus, our old life of sin dies and we are given new life in Him.

Baptism is also a symbol of our cleansing from sin. 1 Peter 3:21 says, “And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

This verse tells us that baptism doesn’t save us physically, but it does save us spiritually. When we are baptized, we are cleansed from our sins and given a new start in life. We are also declaring to the world that we are followers of Jesus Christ.

Inviting Everyone To Know Jesus

Evangelism is sharing the gospel with others and inviting them to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior. It’s one of the most important things we can do as Christians, because it’s how we spread the love and message of Jesus to the world.

There are many ways we can evangelize. We can talk to our friends and family about Jesus, share gospel tracts with people we meet, pray for people who are lost, and more.

God has given us all the tools we need to evangelize. And He will give us strength and courage to share the gospel with others.

Let’s commit ourselves to evangelism, and let’s pray for God to open doors for us to share His love with others.
