Saved By Grace Through Faith

Being saved by grace through faith is one of the most wonderful gifts God has ever given to us. It’s something we should be incredibly grateful for, and something we should never take for granted.

The Bible tells us that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This means that we don’t deserve to be saved, but God has chosen to save us anyway. We can’t earn our salvation – it’s a gift from God, given to us because of His love for us.

We should respond to this amazing gift by living our lives in a way that pleases Him. We should also share this good news with others, so they can receive the same gift we have received. Thank you, Lord, for saving us!

What is the Church?

The word “church” comes from the Greek word ekklesia, which means “assembly” or “congregation.” In the New Testament, the church refers to all believers in Jesus Christ.

The church is not a building; it’s a group of people who have been brought together by God. He is the head of the church, and we are His body. We are all different parts of the same whole, working together to accomplish His purposes on earth.

We need each other! The Bible tells us that we are to encourage and build each other up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). We are also to bear each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). In other words, we need to be there for each other – to help and support each other through the good times and the bad.

This is why it’s so important to be involved in a local church. When you do, you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who can encourage you and help you grow in your faith. You’ll also have the opportunity to encourage and help others.

What is Discipleship?

A disciple is someone who follows Jesus Christ and seeks to obey His commands. As disciples of Christ, our goal should be to become more like Him. This process of becoming more like Christ is called discipleship.

Discipleship is not a program or a course that you can complete in a certain amount of time. It’s a lifelong journey! As we follow Jesus, He will continually transform us into His image.

Of course, this doesn’t happen automatically. We have to be intentional about it. We need to study His Word, pray, and spend time with other believers. We also need to obey what He tells us to do, even when it’s hard.

As we do these things, God will work in our lives to make us more like His Son. So let’s get started on the journey!

Why is Community Important?

One of the most important things we need as Christians is community. We were never meant to do life alone. God designed us to need each other, and He has called us to live in community with one another.

When we are connected to other believers, we can encourage and support each other. We can also hold each other accountable and help each other grow in our faith. Simply put, life is better together!

If you’re not currently involved in a local church, we encourage you to take that step. Find a group of people who love Jesus and who will help you grow in your faith. You won’t regret it!

The Importance of Prayer and The Bible

Prayer is simply talking with God, and Bible reading is just that – reading the Bible. You may think these are simple tasks, but they’re actually very difficult to do well. Prayer requires you to be honest and open with God about your thoughts and feelings (and this can be really hard!), while Bible reading takes time and effort in order to understand what’s being communicated in the text.

But prayer without understanding or Bible reading without prayer doesn’t make sense. These two things should go hand-in-hand because both of them help us grow closer to Jesus Christ!

The Holy Spirit

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, these fruits will begin to grow and develop.

Love is a desire to do what is best for others, even if it’s not what we want for ourselves. Joy is a deep sense of happiness and contentment that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Peace is the assurance that everything is going to be okay, even in the midst of difficult times. Patience is the ability to wait patiently for what we want instead of getting upset or angry. Kindness is doing thoughtful things for others without expecting anything in return. Goodness is living a life that reflects the goodness of God. Faithfulness is being trustworthy and reliable, even when it’s hard. Gentleness is being kind and gentle with others, even when they don’t deserve it. Self-control is the ability to resist temptation and instead do what is right.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, we will begin to see these fruits develop. And as we grow in these areas, we will become more like Jesus Christ!
