Jesus, Our Savior!
Jesus: He is the Son of God, and one with Him. As Christians, we believe in His divinity and resurrection. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay for our sins. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. We follow Jesus because He is the way, the truth, and the life – no one comes to the Father except through Him.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” 1 John 2:2
One Church in Jesus Christ
Church: The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all Christians. Churches are kept together by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). Churches gather for fellowship, encouragement, and to equip one another for Christian service. Churches teach truth – especially about Jesus – and disciple believers in a way that helps them grow in their faith. They also practice baptism and communion as acts of obedience to Jesus’ commission to “disciple all nations.”
“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” 1 Corinthians 12:12

We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest
Follow the Leader: Discipleship
Discipleship is following Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Discipleship is learning from Him and obeying His commands. It includes growing in your faith, studying the Bible, and being baptized. It also includes serving others and sharing the gospel with those who don’t know Jesus.
Discipleship is important because it helps us to become more like Jesus Christ. We need to be disciples if we want to grow in our faith and be equipped to serve Him. When we discipleship with other believers, we are encouraged and built up in our faith. We can also learn from them about how to share the gospel with others.
If you want to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, find a local church that teaches truth, that you can fellowship with, and that prays for you. Churches in Lahore are places where Christians go to learn more about Jesus Christ and become His disciples.
Obedience and Joy in Baptism
Baptism is an outward sign of our inward faith – a way for us to say “I believe in Jesus Christ” and to proclaim Him as Lord. Jesus commanded us to be baptized in His name. Many practice baptism as an act of obedience to Jesus’ commission.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18-19a
Jesus Commands Us To Baptize Disciples
When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead – you will be saved. For it is by believing in our hearts that we are made right with God, and it is by confessing with our mouths that we are saved. Romans 10:9-10
Before a person is baptized, a pastor or a church leader will help them understand what it means to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many churches ask three questions of the person before they are baptized:
1. Have you repented of your sins? Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins, and rose again from the dead so that you could be forgiven?
2. Do you want to follow Jesus as Lord, serving Him and obeying His commands?
3. Do you believe that water baptism is an outward sign of the inward work that has taken place in your life through faith in Jesus Christ?
If they answer “yes” to these questions, they are taught more about what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Praising Jesus Through Worship
Worship is giving our lives to God. It is an act of submission to Him and an acknowledgment that He is worthy of all praise. We worship Him because He is holy, righteous, and good. He alone is worthy of our love and devotion.
In worship, we come before the throne of God and offer Him our hearts. We lay down our lives in exchange for His love and mercy. We give Him everything we have – including our bodies, minds, and spirits. We come to Him in humility, admitting that we are sinners in need of His grace.
Worship is a time to encounter the living God. It is a time to hear His voice and to receive His blessing in our lives. Churches will usually have a service in which the entire congregation gathers in order to worship together. They will also sometimes offer “worship nights” in which they meet for an extended time (often lasting several hours) to sing songs and listen to teaching about Jesus Christ.
Share the Gospel with All!
Evangelism is the preaching of the gospel – the good news that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose again from the dead so that we could be forgiven. It is sharing this gospel with others in order to bring them to faith in Jesus Christ.
Evangelism is important because it brings people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we share the gospel with others, we are telling them about the best news they could ever hear. It is good news because it means that their sins have been forgiven and they can have eternal life through Jesus Christ.
When we share the gospel, we are also inviting others into fellowship with us as believers. We become part of a family of believers when we come to know Jesus Christ.
