Jesus Saves All

Jesus didn’t come to save a few “chosen people.” He came to save everyone. That includes you, no matter who you are or what you’ve done.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). In other words, there is no other way to be saved than by putting your trust in Jesus Christ.

But don’t take our word for it – read the Bible for yourself! It is full of stories of God reaching out to sinful people and offering them forgiveness and new life.

The good news is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so we could be forgiven and have eternal life. All we need to do is repent (turn away from our sin) and believe in Him.

Discipleship: Growing in Christ

A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. As disciples, we are called to grow in our relationship with God and to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.

The best way to grow as a disciple is to be connected to a local church where you can worship God, learn from His Word, pray, and serve others. You can also grow in your relationship with God by reading the Bible and spending time in prayer.

Baptism: Showing Others You’re a Follower of Christ

Baptism is an important step of obedience for every follower of Jesus Christ. It is a public profession of our faith and our commitment to live for Him.

In baptism, we are buried with Christ in water and raised to new life, just as He was raised from the dead (see Romans 6:4). This act symbolizes the forgiveness of our sins and new life in Christ.

If you have not been baptized and would like to take this step of obedience, please contact us and we will help you get connected with one of the local churches in Lagonoy.

Prayer: Talking with God

Prayer is simply talking with God. It is a way to express our love for Him and to share our concerns, joys, and needs with Him.

God wants us to come to Him with everything, big or small. He cares about every detail of our lives! Prayer is one of the best ways to stay connected to God and to grow in our relationship with Him.

The Bible: God’s Word for Us

The Bible is unique among all other books because it is the Word of God. It was written by human authors, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it tells us about God, His plan for our lives, and how to have a personal relationship with Him.

The Bible is useful for teaching us what is true, rebuking us when we sin, correcting us when we are wrong, and training us to live according to God’s will (see 2 Timothy 3:16).

Reading and studying the Bible is one of the best ways to grow in our relationship with God.

Evangelism: Sharing the Good News

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to share the good news of His love and forgiveness with others. This is called evangelism.

The best way to share the gospel is by living out our faith in everyday life and sharing our personal testimony of how Jesus Christ has changed our lives.

Sharing your faith can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be! Here are a few tips to help you get started:

1. Start by simply introducing yourself and sharing your name.

2. Share what Jesus Christ has done for you and how He has changed your life.

3. Pray for the person you are talking to, asking God to open their hearts to the gospel.

4. Be patient and don’t give up. It may take time for the person to understand what you are saying.

5. Be prepared to answer questions about your faith.

6. Share the gospel in a way that is relevant to the person you are talking to.

7. Use Bible verses to back up what you are saying.

8. Tell others about your own spiritual journey and how God has worked in your life.

9. Be willing to listen to others and let them ask questions about your faith.

10. Seek out opportunities to share the gospel with others.

God is Love

As Christians, we believe that God is love (1 John 4:8). This means that God loves us unconditionally and sacrificially. He loves us even when we sin and rebel against Him.

God’s love is the most important thing in the world! It is more important than anything else, including our own lives. This is why Jesus Christ died on the cross – to show us how much God loves us.

When we understand how much God loves us, it changes everything. We no longer have to worry about what other people think of us or try to earn God’s love. We can simply rest in His love and receive it freely.

Thank you, Lord, for your amazing love! It is a gift that we cannot earn or deserve. Help us to understand your love more each day and to share it with others.
