The Freedom of God
When Jesus died on the cross, he paid the penalty for our sins. He took our place and suffered the consequences we deserved. As a result, we are now free! We don’t have to be slaves to sin anymore because Jesus has set us free. (John 8:36)
This is good news because it means that we can now live in freedom! We don’t have to worry about trying to earn God’s favor by doing good works because Jesus has already done that for us. All we need to do is trust in him and follow him. Living in freedom is a wonderful thing! It means we can enjoy life without all the guilt and shame that comes with sin. It also means we can serve God with joy and enthusiasm, knowing that we are forgiven and loved no matter what. Praise Jesus, who sets us free from bondage!

Baptism: A Declaration
Baptism is an important step of obedience for every believer. It shows others that we have decided to follow Jesus Christ. It is also a symbol of our faith, and it is a way for us to show our commitment to God. Baptism does not save us from our sins, but it is an important step of obedience. When we are baptized, we are publicly declaring our faith in Jesus Christ. We are also proclaiming that we have died to our old life of sin and that we have been raised to new life in Christ. (Romans 6:4)
If you have never been baptized, we encourage you to take this important step of obedience. If you would like to be baptized, please talk to your pastor or church leader. They will be happy to help you take this next step in your faith journey!
What is Prayer?
Prayer is an important part of the Christian life. It is a way for us to communicate with God, and it is a way for us to grow in our relationship with him. Prayer is also a way for us to ask God for help and guidance. The Bible tells us that we should pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). This means that we should be in constant communication with God. We should not only pray when we are in need, but we should also praise and thank him continually.
If you are not sure how to pray, that’s okay! Just start talking to God, and he will hear you. He knows your heart, and he knows your needs. Just pour out your heart to him, and he will meet you where you are.
The Importance of The Bible
The Bible is the Word of God, and it is our authority for faith and life. We need to read the Bible because it helps us to understand who God is and what he has done for us. If you need help understanding what you are reading, talk to your pastor or church leader. They would be happy to help you get started!
The following are some verses about the Bible that may be helpful:
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)
“The entrance of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130)
“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105)
The Peace of God
When most people think of the word “peace,” they think of a state of calm and tranquility. However, the Bible defines peace in a much broader way. The Hebrew word for peace, shalom, means much more than just an absence of conflict. Shalom encompasses all aspects of life: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. It is a sense of completeness and well-being that comes from knowing God and living in harmony with his will.
When we have shalom in our lives, we experience true peace and contentment. We can find this peace even amid difficult circumstances because we know that God is with us and he has a plan for our lives. The Bible says: “And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…and be thankful” (Colossians 3:15). When we focus on the things that bring us joy–such as spending time with God’s people or serving others–we can find lasting peace that transcends all circumstances.
