Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He was born in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life on Earth. He died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose from the dead three days later. Jesus is the only way to know God and experience eternal salvation. If you want to know more about Jesus, read the Bible and pray to Him. He will reveal Himself to you in ways you never imagined.

What Does the Church Believe?
The Christian Church believes that there is only one true and living God. He exists as three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christians want to follow God’s will for their lives, so they acknowledge His authority over them by obeying His Word (the Bible) and praying to Him.
All Churches need to believe and practice the following:
1. Jesus Christ is the only way to God, and He offers salvation from sin through His death on the cross.
2. The Bible is God’s Word, infallible and authoritative in every area of life.
3 The church exists to exalt Christ by equipping believers and reaching the lost. Churches should be led by men and women who follow Jesus, submit to His Word, and humbly submit to one another.
4 Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and resurrected on the third day and is now seated at the right hand of the Father
5 Jesus will return for a pure and spotless bride (the Church)
We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest
Becoming a Disciple
A disciple is a follower of Christ; we turn away from sin and live as He taught us to live. We obey God’s commandments and strive for purity. We strive to honor Christ with our lives and share God’s love with others. If you’re interested in becoming a disciple, read the Bible every day. Read about Jesus’ life and teachings in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). Pray that He will reveal Himself to you through Scripture. As you learn more about Jesus, you will become more and more passionate about following Him.
The Lord’s Prayer
As followers of Christ, we are encouraged to pray to God the Father, in the name of His Son, Jesus. There are many instances throughout Scripture when God’s people prayed in this way (Acts 1:24; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6, 7).
Jesus’ model prayer is found in Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer begins with a call to worship and thanksgiving, and it ends with a statement of perseverance. A version of the Lord’s Prayer is found in 1 Timothy 2:1-7.
Jesus said that we should always pray and not become discouraged (Luke 18:1). We know we’re praying for something good when we pray in Jesus’ name. Praying to our heavenly Father is a way of expressing reverence and humility before Him.
Prayer: Talking to God
What is prayer? Prayer is communication with God. It’s a way to express our love and reverence for Him, as well as our dependence on Him. We can pray about anything, big or small. In prayer, we can bring all of our concerns and petitions before God. He desires to hear from us and to help us in every area of our lives.
Prayer is also a way to build relationships with other believers. We can pray for one another, encourage one another, and minister to one another through prayer. When we come together in prayer, it builds unity within the church body. And when we pray for the lost, it opens the door for them to come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Prayer is a way for God to speak to us. Even when we don’t feel like praying, God will still hear our prayers.
Prayer is the way that Jesus taught His disciples to pray. He wants us to talk to Him in prayer just as He prayed to the Father (John 17:1-26). We’re encouraged in Scripture to praise God (Psalm 22:3; 65:1), give thanks (Ephesians 5:20), confess our sins to God (1 John 1:9), intercede for others (Matthew 18:19, 20), and pray for specific things/people (Acts 12:5-12; Philippians 4).
Prayer: How to Pray
Scripture gives various forms of prayer. You can pray out loud, in groups, and privately. Some people like to use a simple prayer book or even write down their prayers so they don’t forget anything. There are also different ways of praying. We can praise God (Psalm 22), call on Him by name (Isaiah 64:7), cry out to Him for mercy (Psalm 51:1), thank God for His goodness and provision (Ephesians 5:20), offer up our requests/petitions to God (Philippians 4:6, 7), confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9), commit ourselves into His hands (Luke 23:46), and pray for specific needs.
Prayer requires that we humble ourselves before God. It’s not about getting things from God or trying to make Him do what we want Him to do. Rather, prayer is meant to build us up in our faith by focusing on who God is and what He has done for us. Prayer is a way for us to spend time with God and fellowship with Him as we learn more and more about who He is and what He wants from us.
Worship: In Spirit and In Truth
When we come into the presence of God, we want to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Worship is all about giving glory to God. It’s a way for us to express our love and reverence for Him. We can worship Him through song, dance, prayer, and fellowship with other believers.
Worshiping God is an important part of our relationship with Him. It helps us to become more like Him and to grow closer to Him. When we worship God, we are declaring that He is Lord over our lives. We are also declaring that we belong to Him.
God desires for us to worship Him with all of our hearts. He wants us to come into His presence and worship Him in awe, wonder, and gratitude. When we worship God, He is moved by our praise and responds with His love for us.
God wants to meet with us through worship. Even though it’s impossible for us to comprehend the greatness of God, when we come into His presence to worship Him, He initiates a personal relationship with us and blesses us with His presence.
