The Gospel and Good News of Jesus Christ
The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ. When we receive Him as our Lord and Savior, we are saved by grace through faith. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross, and He offers us eternal life if we believe in Him. We are also adopted into God’s family and given His Holy Spirit when we become believers. The Gospel is the best news anyone could ever receive!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” -2 Corinthians 5:17
“All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” -Romans 10:13
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God, and He came to earth as a man to die for our sins. He rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Jesus is the only way to know God and to be saved. When we receive Him as our Lord and Savior, we become His children and are given eternal life.
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” -John 14:6
“And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” -John 17:3
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” -Acts 4:12
Jesus promised that the gates of Hades would not stand against the Church (Matthew 16:18). The Church is made up of all born-again believers and consists of both Jews and Gentiles. We are all members of God’s family and we should love and encourage one another just as the members of a physical family do (Ephesians 4:1-3).
The Church is the Body of Christ. Just as a human body consists of many individual parts that work together, the Church is made up of all believers around the world who are united to Jesus Christ. We are all members of God’s family and we should love and encourage one another just as the members of a physical family do.

We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest
How to Become a Disciple
To become a disciple of Jesus Christ, we must first believe in Him as our Lord and Savior. We are then baptized in water as a symbol of our faith, and we receive the Holy Spirit. We should read the Bible regularly and pray daily. We should also attend church faithfully and share the Gospel with others. It is through discipleship that we learn to follow Jesus Christ more closely.
“If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” -John 14:15-17
“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” -John 15:4
Worship to Our God
Worship is a way to show our love for God. It is an act of reverence and submission as we come before Him in awe and reverence. We can worship God through song, dance, prayer, or any other form of expression. Worship is a time to focus on who God is and what He has done for us. It is also a time to receive from Him what we need for our lives. We should worship God with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and we should always be seeking to know Him better.
Steps to Prayer
Most people think of prayer as a time to ask for things, but the Bible makes it clear that we should also be praying about what God wants us to do.
It’s not always easy to know how and when to pray, so here are some basic guidelines:
When you wake up in the morning, spend a few minutes thanking God for all he has done for you during the night. Before you go to sleep at night, spend a few minutes praying about what happened that day and asking Him where He would like your prayers. Every Sunday, prepare ahead of time by reading through the sermon or lesson beforehand — this way your mind is already prepared with thoughts on which passages might need extra attention during worship. Most importantly – don’t be ashamed to pray. It’s okay to talk with God about anything that is on your mind or in your heart.
“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” -Matthew 21:22
Tell One, Tell All!
Evangelizing is simply sharing the Gospel with others. It is telling them about Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. We can evangelize by talking to our friends, family, co-workers, or anyone we meet. It is important to be prepared with the Gospel message, but it is also important to be humble and open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance. We should pray for guidance and then share the Gospel in a way that is comfortable for us. We can also use Scripture verses, personal testimonies, or any other means of sharing the Good News.
It is through evangelism that we can bring people to Christ and help them experience His love and salvation.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” -Acts 1:8
