Getting Right With God By Faith

Righteousness by faith is not something we earn – rather, it comes from having faith in Jesus Christ (Eph 2:8-9). It is not a result of our own doing but rather an undeserved gift given freely through His grace. When we trust in Christ alone for our salvation, His righteousness is credited to us (2 Cor 5:21). This means that when God looks at us, He sees us as righteous – not because of anything we’ve done but because of what Jesus has done for us.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that He died for our sins and rose again, providing us with eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). This is something that we could never earn on our own – it’s a gift from God given through faith in Jesus Christ. When we accept this gift, we are forgiven and given eternal life.

“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and there is nothing I can do to earn Your forgiveness. But I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again, and I am willing to turn from my sin and follow Him as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me new life. Amen.”
