The Trinity of God
In Christianity, the Trinity is the belief that three beings – God (the Father), Jesus Christ (the Son), and the Holy Spirit are all equal and co-eternal, sharing a single divine essence. This means they have always existed together as one but in different forms. God transformed himself into human form when he became incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth; this was done so that humanity would not be left without a Redeemer.
Furthermore, it is believed that after his resurrection from death on Easter Sunday, Jesus ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of his Father in heaven. He will return again someday to bring justice and salvation to all people. The Holy Spirit has come to represent God’s presence in the world.
We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest
Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God who became incarnate on Earth in order to die for our sins. He was fully human and yet, at the same time, fully divine. He lived a perfect life without sin and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our wrongdoings. Three days later, he rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of his Father in Heaven. Jesus is the only way to know God and to be saved from our sins.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” – John 14:16-17

Walking and Talking Like Jesus: Discipleship
Discipleship is the process of learning to follow Jesus Christ and become more like him. It begins with repentance – realizing that we are sinners in need of a Savior and turning our lives over to Jesus Christ. As we grow in our relationship with him, we learn to obey his commands, love others, and share the gospel with those around us. Discipleship is a lifelong journey that leads us closer to God and prepares us for eternity with Him.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” – Matthew 4:19
Baptism and the Holy Spirit
When a person becomes a Christian they have received the free gift of eternal life. A person is then baptized in water as a sign of their identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. Being baptized is an outward expression that reflects an inward change and prompts the believer to walk differently.
“When they came down to the water, Jesus told them: ‘Now you are truly clean. ” – John 13:10
Prayer and Fasting
We are encouraged to pray regularly because this reminds us that God is our loving Father. Prayer should be sincere and often, asking God for what we need. We are also told to “pray without ceasing” – meaning that we should have an ongoing conversation with God throughout the day by communicating our sorrows, fears, hopes, dreams, and concerns. We should not neglect prayer, whether we are facing a big problem or a little one!
In addition to praying regularly, fasting is also encouraged as a way of humbling ourselves before God and drawing closer to him. Jesus said: “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.” (Matthew 6:16)
The Bible – God’s Word
God has given us an incredible gift in his Word-the Bible! The Bible is a collection of 66 books that were written over a 1500 year period. The Bible tells us about who God is and how we can know him, and it shows us what he wants us to do in response to his love.
The Bible is important because it is God’s Word. He has breathed out his Word and it is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12). The Bible can change our lives because it is truth (John 17:17). It is a source of comfort in difficult times, instruction for living, and a guide to salvation. When we read the Bible, we are hearing from God himself.
