Christ’s Church: A Place Where Believers Gather

What is the church? The church is a community of believers who come together to worship and learn from God’s Word.

The church is not a building, but the people who meet together in obedience to Jesus Christ. It isn’t about rules or rituals, it’s about relationships – relationships with God and with other believers. When you become a follower of Jesus Christ, you are automatically part of His Church.

We Want You to Experience Life to the Fullest

Jesus, Our Lord, and Savior

Jesus is the Son of God. He is the one who came to earth to die for our sins. When we believe in Him and receive Him as our Savior, we are forgiven and have eternal life. Jesus is also the only way to know God. He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you want to know more about Jesus, read the Bible and pray to Him. He will reveal Himself to you.

Next Step: Baptism

After you become a follower of Jesus Christ, you should be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus Christ and symbolizes your new life in Him. It is also a public declaration of your faith in Him. In Ashaiman, there are churches that will baptize you after you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Always Be in Prayer

God desires for us to pray to Him constantly (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is a way to communicate with our Heavenly Father. He listens to every prayer and responds according to His perfect will. When you pray, be honest and open with God. Tell Him your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Ask Him to help you in your everyday life. Be thankful for the blessings He has given you. And remember, God loves you and wants to hear from you!

The Bible: A Guide for Your Journey

The Bible is the Word of God. It is the authoritative source of truth about God and His plan for our lives. The Bible is also a source of comfort and encouragement in difficult times. It is full of wisdom and instruction for living a godly life.

The best way to read the Bible is to start with the New Testament, which tells the story of Jesus Christ. Then read the Old Testament, which tells the story of Israel and God’s plan for them. As you read, ask God to help you understand what He is saying. Write down verses that stand out to you and reflect on them throughout the day.

Share Your Faith

It’s important to share your faith with others. When you tell others about Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, it opens up the opportunity for them to receive Him too. You can share your faith in many ways, such as through personal testimony, prayer, or simply living a godly life.

When you share your faith with others, it’s important to be respectful and humble. Remember, you’re not trying to force your beliefs on anyone – you’re simply telling them what Jesus has done for you. Be prepared to answer questions, and be patient with people who are interested in learning more. And most importantly, pray for God’s guidance and blessings as you share His love with others.

Worship: A Part of Loving God

Worship is one of the most important aspects of our lives as Christians. We worship God because He is worthy of all praise and honor. Psalm 96:8 says, “Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his courts.”

One reason we worship God is that He is holy and pure. In Isaiah 6:3, Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up, and he cried out, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty! His glory fills the whole earth.” We are in awe of God’s majesty and power, and we stand in reverence before Him.

Another reason we worship God is that He has saved us from our sins. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for our sins, and when we accept Him as our Savior, we are forgiven. We worship God because He is good and gracious, and we want to thank Him for all He has done for us.

Worshiping God is a way of showing our love for Him. It’s an opportunity to come before Him with thanksgiving and praise. We can also worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). This means that our hearts should be fully devoted to Him, and our worship should be authentic and sincere.

Five Things You Should Know About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and He is just as important as God the Father and Jesus Christ. The Bible mentions Him more than 500 times, and there are many things we can learn about Him from Scripture.

The Holy Spirit is a mysterious figure, and much of what we know about Him comes from revelation. We can’t fully understand Him because He is beyond our comprehension. But we can know some things about Him based on what the Bible says.

Here are five things you may not know about the Holy Spirit:

1. He is one with the Father and the Son

In John 14:23, Jesus says, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all one in unity. They are of the same essence and share the same goals.

2. He is a personal God

The Holy Spirit is not some abstract force or concept – He is a personal God who desires to have a relationship with us. In Isaiah 63:10, it says, “But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and fought against them.” The Holy Spirit is not indifferent to our actions – He cares about us and wants us to obey Him.

3. He convicts us of sin

The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us to repentance (Acts 5:31). He shows us our sinfulness and helps us see that we need Jesus Christ to save us. In John 16:8, Jesus says, “When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment.”

4. He gives us power for service

The Holy Spirit empowers us for service. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The Holy Spirit gives us strength and courage to share our faith with others.

5. He indwells us

The Holy Spirit resides within us once we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. In 1 Corinthians 3:16, it says, “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” We can never fully understand the Holy Spirit, but we can be assured of His presence in our lives.
