Believing in Jesus

“Dear God, I know that I’m a sinner, and I’m sorry for my sins. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ, died for me and that you raised Him from the dead. I want to turn away from my sins. I trust in You and Jesus alone for my salvation. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to follow You as Lord from this day forward. Thank you! Amen.”

Jesus is God’s gift to us; we can’t earn or deserve a gift from God. But He loves us so much that even though we don’t deserve it, He sent His Son to die on the cross to forgive our sins and provide salvation for us.

Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), which means that if we want to believe in Jesus, all we have to do is ask Him into our hearts and listen for His response.

Evangelism

Evangelism is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. It’s an important part of being a Christian, and it’s something that we’re called to do. The Bible says that we should go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone (Mark 16:15).

We can share our faith through evangelism in many different ways – by talking to friends and family, by writing about our faith, by sharing testimonies, or by going on mission trips.
