Find a Church in Pasig, Philippines

The Church is a community of believers; we are all Christians who have been saved by the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that we’re all sinners, but God gave His only Son to die for our sins so that we could be forgiven and reconciled with Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). That’s what makes Christianity different from any other religion – it’s not about trying harder…it’s about accepting what Christ has done for us already!

The Body of Christ

The Body of Christ is not just a saying or a metaphor – it’s a real, spiritual thing! We are all part of the Church, and as Christians, we are called to be unified in love (Ephesians 4:1-3). That doesn’t mean that we’re all going to agree on everything, but it does mean that we should be striving to love each other and build one another up.

Being part of the Body of Christ is so important because it’s how we grow in our faith. It’s one thing to learn about Jesus from books or from someone else, but it’s another thing entirely to experience Him firsthand through the Church. The Bible tells us that the Church is the “pillar and foundation of truth” (1 Timothy 3:15).

Praying and Talking to Jesus

When we pray to Jesus, we’re talking to the most powerful person in the universe! Not only is He our Savior, but He’s also our friend and Heavenly Father. We can talk to Him about anything – our problems, our worries, our hopes, and our dreams. Prayer is a way of communicating with God, and it’s one of the best ways to get closer to Him.

The Bible tells us that we should pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), which means that we should always be praying, even when we don’t feel like it. Prayer doesn’t have to be a formal thing – it can be as simple as talking to Jesus while you’re driving or taking a walk. The most important thing is to talk to Him.

When someone becomes a Christian, they are baptized in water “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). This is how we show that we have accepted Jesus into our hearts and made Him Lord – it’s our way of publicly declaring what God has already done in our hearts.

Holy Spirit, Our Guide, and Helper

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and He is just as important as God the Father and Jesus Christ. He is our comforter, our guide, and our helper. He lives in us and helps us to live a godly life. The Bible tells us that we should “not grieve the Holy Spirit of God” (Ephesians 4:30) because He dwells in us.

The Holy Spirit is mentioned throughout the Bible, and here are some verses that talk about Him:

– “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:26)

– “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30)

– “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ” (Romans 8:9)

Believing in Jesus

When we believe in Jesus, it means that we trust Him and put our faith in Him. We acknowledge that He is God’s Son and that all of the things He claimed about Himself are true (John 14:6). It also means that we turn away from our past sinful lives and ask for forgiveness (Acts 3:19).

Believing in Jesus isn’t enough, but it’s the first step! We need to follow what we believe and make a decision to serve God. The Bible says that our faith without actions is useless (James 2:14-26) and that we should turn away from our sinful ways and serve God (1 Peter 2:11).

We can believe in Jesus by praying a simple prayer, which is also called “the sinner’s prayer.” Here’s what the sinner’s prayer says:

“Dear God, I know that I’m a sinner, and I’m sorry for my sins. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ, died for me and that you raised Him from the dead. I want to turn away from my sins. I trust in You and Jesus alone for my salvation. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to follow You as Lord from this day forward. Thank you! Amen.”

Jesus is God’s gift to us; we can’t earn or deserve a gift from God. But He loves us so much that even though we don’t deserve it, He sent His Son to die on the cross to forgive our sins and provide salvation for us.

Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), which means that if we want to believe in Jesus, all we have to do is ask Him into our hearts and listen for His response.

Evangelism is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others. It’s an important part of being a Christian, and it’s something that we’re called to do. The Bible says that we should go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone (Mark 16:15).

We can share our faith through evangelism in many different ways – by talking to friends and family, by writing about our faith, by sharing testimonies, or by going on mission trips.

No matter how we share our faith, it’s important to do it with love and compassion. We need to remember that everyone is sinners, including us, and that we need Jesus Christ to save us.
